Mission & Values
Everything we do at the WBA traces back to one or more of these three objectives:

Development
Development
A pathway from the very beginnings of the sport all the
way through to the elite level. Primary school through to
semi-professional. A pipeline.
Fun
Fun
Sport should be fun. Playing just for exercise or taking a
more serious approach –either way – the underlying
idea is that we’re all here to have a good time!
Community
Community
This is a community-based organisation. Run by, and for,
people from Warrandyte and its adjoining suburbs. Let’s all get involved!

History
Clinton Grybas the late ABC/3AW sports commentator and presenter (and Life Member of the WBA), prepared this overview of the club’s first 30 years, from inception in 1965 through to 1995.
